Head of Digital Asset Strategy
Richard Grace is the Head of Digital Asset Strategy at DAFM, joining the team on a part-time basis alongside his role as Founder of macroeconomic research firm PinPoint Macro Analytics, which he established in June 2020.
Richard brings more than 30 years of experience in international economics and currency strategy. He spent 15 years at the Commonwealth Bank of Australia (CBA) as Chief Currency Strategist and Head of International Economics.
Prior to his time at CBA, Richard held senior economist and strategist roles in both Sydney and London with leading institutions including National Australia Bank, WestDeutsche Landesbank (WestLB), Colonial State Bank, and Dominguez Barry (now UBS).
Richard holds a Bachelor of Economics and a Master of Economics from Macquarie University. He has also contributed to academia, tutoring in economics and working at Macquarie University’s Asia Pacific Research Institute. More recently, he spent three years as an Honorary Associate at the University of Technology Sydney (UTS).
