Damian Bird is the Head of the Emerging Markets Growth Team and the lead portfolio manager of the Global Emerging Markets Growth strategy.
Damian joined Polen Capital Management in 2019 and prior to joining Polen Capital, Damian was an Emerging Market Portfolio Manager at LGM Investments.
Damian began his career at Arisaig Partners as an Investment Analyst, primarily focusing on consumer companies in the developing world.
Damian received his B.A. in History & Economics from the University of Oxford and has lived and worked in Singapore, Dubai and South Africa. Damian is a CFA® charterholder.
